About Us

RV Direct Insurance was born from a passion for RVing and seeing a lack of proper insurance coverage for campers. We opened our doors in Calgary in 2002 to provide affordable and comprehensive insurance protection for RVers. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the largest RV insurance brokers in Western Canada.

For over 15 years, RV Direct Insurance has been there for the RVing community. As independent brokers, we advocate for you. Our brokers specialize in RV insurance and have the experience and knowledge to help you get the best coverage for your budget. We can also answer your questions and help you through the claims process.

RV Direct has always been invested in offering convenience for our customers – that’s why you can get a quote, manage your policy, and access insurance resources on our website.

We aim to keep your insurance easy while providing exceptional customer service. We offer comprehensive, affordable coverage that is tailored to your individual situation. We hope you can have peace of mind so that you can enjoy your relaxation and recreation time with your family and friends.

In February 2019, RV Direct Insurance joined the Rogers Insurance Group of Companies. Founded by Peter Rogers in 1977, Rogers Insurance is now a leading independent insurance brokerage in Canada. Their human approach to insurance, expertise, and extensive market access allows for exceptional customer experiences. Rogers has also been named one of Alberta’s Top Employers since 2007.

What Our Customers Say

The last insurer we used didn’t know much about RVs. We didn’t realize this until we were involved in a serious accident and the broker asked us: ‘Where on the trailer does the fifth wheel actually go?’ We knew there would be problems.

One Christmas Eve, we were down south when a severe storm hit. Many RVs sustained damage, and some people were without the use of their rig. RV Direct Insurance helped us right away, while others couldn’t receive assistance for days.
